Buddy Season License

Having a VolleyWrite Buddy season license enables VolleyWrite to send match information to the officials and team benches via a bluetooth connection for 183 days (6 months). The match/set information is displayed on an iPad with the iOS VolleyWrite Buddy app purchased as a one-time fee through Apple’s App store.

The match information displayed shows the team names and which side of the court each team occupies, the current set number and sets won for each team.  If the Challenge Review System is used, challenge counts are also displayed.   The set information on the Buddy display includes the court layout (player numbers, libero location, libero service position and currently serving team) and time-out and sub counts.

Similar to VolleyWrite, when the allotted subs and time-outs have been used, the display indicates the numbers differently.  Set point and the last 4 substitutions also change the color of the associated data.

Description

Assist your officials and the team benches by displaying VolleyWrite information on an iPad or iPhone (or two) via bluetooth to show counts and lineup information for a quick reference during play.

This license is installed on the Connections page of the Rules tab and it allows VolleyWrite to send match and set information to the iOS VolleyWrite Buddy app which is available in the App store.

This Buddy license lasts 6 months (183 days) from when it is installed on the Connections tab of the Rules tab inside VolleyWrite.  You will still need a valid (not expired) VolleyWrite license installed to score a match.
