Earlier this week, the iTunes App store approved the latest release of VolleyWrite for the iPad (3.1), and today we have released the latest version of VolleyWrite for WIndows (version 3.1.13) on our website. These versions include the new lineup entry into lineup diagrams matching what the coaches submit, which we think will eliminate lineup problems for your matches. (Yay!)
We want you to have the best scoring experience ever!
If you happen to be in Columbus, Ohio, feel free to visit us at the VolleyWrite booth, #555 at the Columbus Convention Center on Thursday, Friday and Saturday (12/15 – 12/17) for the annual AVCA Convention. We will be demonstrating how easy it is to use VolleyWrite, and we will have a sample tournament set up on VolleyTourney and interface VolleyWrite to it. It will be a lot of fun!
The Marketplace is open to coaches:
on Thursday, 12/15 from 10 am to 12:30 pm and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm ,
VolleyWrite version 2.3.23 is available for scorers using WIndows computers! Make sure you update to the latest version as soon as possible. Yes, it will probably do it on its own when you open VolleyWrite with internet access, but you can go to the Resources page and click on the green VolleyWrite button to do it now if you would like.
You will want to check out the release notes for this version on that page also, as there are quite a few enhancements! We want you to have the best scoring experience ever!
Mike Worley is the scorer for the University of Louisville in Kentucky. Mike came across VolleyWrite in 2015 and used it in 2016. He has given us some very helpful feedback – and some very helpful “press”, as evidenced by this blog post at MikeWorley.org. Thanks, Mike!
Read it and let us know if you agree!
And, as always, thank you for scoring with VolleyWrite!
It has come to our attention that Dell touch screen computers use a driver which interferes with the refreshing of the VolleyWrite Set tab display, especially after a set has finished. This was discovered last Thursday, and we are trying to find a way around it which will not affect other processors. We have not seen the problem on Microsoft tablets or HP touch screen computers. If you have experienced any issues, please e-mail us at Info@VolleyWrite.com. Thanks! (VolleyWrite scorers are the best!)
I’m also a high school official and have worked games with [VolleyWrite] at a few high schools and it’s a dream come true to solve the hassles of slow scorers and ones who have no clue. I’m now a big fan!
Thanks to Emi Vishoot, Lucas Tuggle and Mike Chandler for the opportunity to train some of the SWOBO scorers at Xavier University to use VolleyWrite on Sunday, August 16! As much as we enjoyed doing the scorekeeping ourselves, it is nice to have others to “take the helm” while we do the libero tracking. Thank you for your support!
Thank you Monique Huffman, secretary of the Kettering Volleyball Association, for allowing us to present VolleyWrite Volleyball Scoring Software to the incoming officials at Springboro High School on Saturday, August 8th! Having scorers in the crowd was very beneficial and we look forward to serving the schools in your area!
We really appreciate the efforts of Marsha Goodwin and Marie Crowe to set up our VolleyWrite presentation for the Chattanooga area. It was a lot of fun and there were lots of good questions. We are honored to support volleyball in Tennessee, and we are looking forward to the state tournament in October!!
